Sliding Glass Doors & French Doors

A sliding glass door or French door is the most-used transition point between indoor and outdoor space. When the rollers wear out, the track bends, or the seal fails, you feel it immediately: drafts, noise, sticking panels, and visible condensation between panes. Replacing an aging slider restores comfort, security, and ease of use in one project.

For Sacramento and Roseville homes with large patio openings, multi-slide doors create a wide indoor-outdoor connection without the bulk of a traditional slider. For Brookings and Crescent City homes exposed to coastal wind, we recommend impact-rated glass and corrosion-resistant hardware that holds up to salt air over the long term.

Proper installation matters as much as the product. A door that is not level or plumb will bind, drag, and wear out its rollers prematurely. We shim and fasten the frame to the rough opening with precision, then adjust the roller height and track alignment so the panels glide without resistance. Weatherstripping and threshold seals are set to block drafts and water intrusion.
