A tempered glass tabletop cut to an unusual shape, a shelf insert for a built-in bookcase, replacement glass for a single-pane window, a picture frame panel, or switch plate covers in matching glass — these projects all require accurate measurement, clean cuts, and proper edge finishing. Off-the-shelf glass panels rarely match non-standard dimensions.

Colfax Glass cuts flat glass in standard, tempered, and laminated varieties. We stock common thicknesses from 1/8-inch to 1/2-inch and can source specialty glass for unusual requirements. Edge treatments include seamed, flat polished, beveled, and pencil polished finishes — chosen based on whether the edge is exposed or set into a frame.

Tempered glass cannot be cut after tempering. We order it cut to your exact dimensions and have it tempered at the factory. Accurate measurements are critical since the finished piece cannot be modified. Standard tempered orders take 5-7 business days. Regular flat glass cuts are often ready same-day or next-day.
